Sunday, December 17, 2017 – The Third Sunday of Advent
8:00 a.m. Holy Communion* in the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer (Rite I), including sermon, organ music, and hymns.
9:30 a.m. Christian Formation (Education). All ages gather in various locations throughout the parish house for Christian Formation.
10:45 a.m. Holy Communion* in the contemporary language of the Book of Common Prayer (Rite II), including sermon, choral and organ music, and hymns.
5:00 p.m. Taizé Holy Eucharist. With time for contemplative silence, prayer, and music in the style of the Taizé, France community, this meditative service is offered every third Sunday.
Weekly Fellowship Breakfast and Coffee Hour on Sundays. On Sundays, experience fellowship during “Holy Chow,” a hearty breakfast for all ages in the Community Room on the second floor of the Parish House from 8:30 to 9:25 a.m., before the 9:30 a.m. Christian formation classes begin. The cost is $4 per person or a maximum of $15 per household. Sundays in our common life also offer Coffee Hour in the Parish House lobby after the 10:45 a.m. service. Everyone is encouraged to attend these community-building and connection-making offerings.
*Nursery Care – 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Infants and toddlers, ages 0-3 are welcome in St. Peter’s professionally staffed nursery. The nursery area is accessible from the Church by walking through the Chapel, and proceeding up the steps to the left.
