The daily, weekly and seasonal life of St. Peter’s requires the time of dedication of volunteers beyond the duties of our paid lay and ordained staff. The operation and success of any church family requires such invaluable services that otherwise are not covered in the church operating budget. While some needs can be met by volunteer teams, other needs can be met through individual commitment.
Church Office Volunteers
The parish office (open Monday-Friday, 9:00-4:30) needs a full slate of volunteers for a variety of tasks at various times. Answering the phone or general office assistance for special projects are two examples of how to get involved and make a difference. To serve, contact Parish Administrator Leigh Dixon (firstname.lastname@example.org, 704-649-6142).
Buildings and Grounds
Volunteers assist the Junior Warden and Facilities Manager in maintaining the building as well as assisting with coordination of projects that involves the church structure and their contents. Tasks often are beyond the scope of standard building maintenance provided by our facilities manager; for example, the Garden Committee works with the buildings and grounds committee in maintaining and improving our gardens at the front and sides of the church. To serve, contact Parish Administrator and Facilities Manager, Leigh Dixon (email@example.com, 704-749-6142).
