Programs and Events.

Regarding Programs and Events including Fellowship. Every Sunday, except when indicated, Christian Formation for children (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd), youth (Journey to Adulthood), and adults is offered from 9:30 to 10:30 am preceded by Holy Chow breakfast (8:30–9:25 am). Every Sunday, Coffee Hour is hosted in the Parish House lobby after the 10:45 a.m. liturgy. The following schedule highlights Sunday and weekday offerings for adults, and more, including weekly fellowship opportunities. For details about each and because some are subject to change, visit www.st-peters.org, watch the weekly eNews, service leaflet notices, and Parish House bulletin boards.

Regarding Monthly Parish Family Potlucks on Sundays at 12:15 pm. The Vestry has committed to provide space and time to build more community at St. Peter’s through casual potluck lunches to be hosted on a regular basis by parish ministry areas; watch closely for more about these important offerings hosted on most second Sundays of the month.

Regarding Sunday Parish Hall Forum Topics. Between April 30 and May 28, the following offerings will be scheduled accordingly: Transforming Leadership: Lay and Ordained Ministry at St. Peter’s and Parish Vision Goals; Reconciliation: Interfaith Dialogue and Initiatives; Reconciliation: Reflecting on Human and Civil Rights; The Episcopal/Anglican Approach to The Holy Scriptures; and Serving Beyond Our Doors: Outreach and Social Justice Ministry Opportunities through St. Peter’s. On June 4, The Reverend Ollie V. Rencher, Rector, returns from his three-month sabbatical and reflects on its theme, “Reconciliation, Music, and Rest for the Soul.” Between June 25 and July 16, the Rector and Associate Rector will host a four-week, intergenerational class series entitled Conversations with the Clergy: June 25, Unpacking the Theology, Purpose, and Ministry of Reconciliation; July 2, Practicing Reconciliation in a Violent World; July 9, The Holy Eucharist: A Response to Violence; and July 16, Music: A Source for Healing of the Heart.
