All members, newcomers, and friends of St. Peter’s Church are invited to offer a pledge for the remainder of the 2017 fiscal year. Each new pledge increases support of the mission, ministry, vision, and overall operations of the parish . The following letter introduced the 2017 annual fund-raising campaign.

Support Life at St. Peter’s: Pledge 2017

Dear Members, Newcomers and Friends of St. Peter’s Church:

You are invited to Support Life at St. Peter’s: Pledge 2017, our annual fund-raising campaign through which individuals and households can join in the great ministry of giving to the mission, ministry, and vision of St. Peter’s.

The mission of God’s Church is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ. St. Peter’s responds to this charge through dedicated worship offerings, robust formation programs and events for children, youth, and adults, pastoral care of those who suffer or seek healing, and continual engagement of outreach and social justice initiatives committed to respecting the dignity of every human being. Our ministry commits to improve congregational development unique to an urban parish, provide fellowship offerings to deepen parish-wide community, and identify ways to better care for one another within and beyond our doors. This ministry also is blessed with a world-renowned music program that feeds our souls on Sundays and many other occasions. Our vision is to become a community of bold followers of Jesus, a crowd that effects good change for the world, a place known for radical love and welcome, and a beacon of hope in Center City Charlotte. Your 2017 pledge will support St. Peter’s in extraordinary ways and bless others beyond measure.

The Annual Fund Leadership, Vestry, and Treasurer are grateful for each pledge received and seek a 100% investment in the financial life at St. Peter’s from all members and newcomers. The Vestry adopted a 2017 operating budget at its January meeting based on pledges received and limited secondary income sources. Throughout the year, we hope for more pledges in order to do even more to the glory of God. To pledge online and make a difference in what we are able to do for the remainder of the 2017 fiscal year, click here, or you may offer your pledge at the Parish House.

If you would like a snapshot of our financials, the Financial Facts from 2016 about Life at St. Peter’s is provided. More specific financial information may be requested from the Parish Administrator, Leigh Dixon (704-749-6142).

There is abundance in community and in the ministry of giving, which we prayerfully hope you will join. Thanks for your consideration and support of life at St. Peter’s.
